本文意圖透過質化研究探討影響音樂學生追求音樂生涯及左右其成就動機的重要調節因素。資料顯示:影響音樂學生成就動機所隱含的背景因素包括親友的期待、對職業美景的憧憬以及面子、榮譽等,這些因素也牽引著音樂學子被教養的方式。此外,音樂學生所表現出的成就目標,往往與身處的社會脈絡背景、社會價值有關,並且未能將其成就價值充分內化為個人價值系統的一部分,他們對音樂的學習態度和價值內涵的評價也往往取決於他人或所屬群體的標準;然而,隨著台灣社會的急速變遷與價值觀的改變,音樂學生長時間的音樂培育與社會取向的成就追求也頓時產生恐慌與裹足不前。本文最後也針對研究參與者對音樂教育的省思,提出相關的建議。

英文摘要

This work intends to discuss the important variation factors for musical students to pursue their careers and how they alter their achievement motivations by qualitative investigation. Results show that the implicit factors for musical students to influence their achievement motivation include the expectation from relatives and friends, their dreams in music careers, and their face as well as honor. These factors also lead to the way that musical students were brought up. In addition, the achievement goals revealed by musical students are generally correlated with the background of social context and social value such that they can not transform this achievement value to parts of their individual intrinsic value. Their learning attitude and self-evaluation of the intrinsic value to music also depend on the viewpoints and criteria of other people or their belonging groups. However, upon the rapid change of Taiwan society value, musical students become panic and hesitate to move forward during their long period of musical education and pursuit for social-oriented achievement. Finally, this paper summarizes the introspection from the participants in this research and proposes the recommendations regarding to the topic.
